Choose a theme — Now, I’m not talking an all-out theme like you had for prom. For a bridal shower, it’s appropriate to choose something feminine, subtle, and classy. It may be the bride’s wedding colors or her favorite flower. Or, the gals at the Scarves Dot Net office highly suggest throwing a scarf-themed bridal shower!

Select your invitations — Invitations tend to get overlooked, but I think they’re one of the most important parts of a bridal shower. They set the tone and mood of the party before it even happens. Choose your menu — I think simple and elegant is always best when it comes to bridal shower food. You could throw a tea party and serve hot tea and finger foods on a mix of china cups and plates. Cucumber sandwiches, petits fours, and macarons are all delicate and lovely options.

Plan your decorations — The decorations are what ties everything together. One idea is to buy little bundles of fresh flowers and create your own bouquets.
