Scarf Style Swoon: Kristine of Kristine or Polly

Scarf Style Guide

Over the past few months, we’ve asked our favorite fashion bloggers to knot, twist, tie, loop, twirl, drape, braid, and style our very own scarves. Along the way, we’ve chatted with each gorgeous gal, asking her questions about her life, her closet, and her loves. The result? A Scarf Style Guide  featuring fabulous scarf looks styled by real life ladies.

Our next style spotlight is Kristine of Kristine or Polly. This Los Angeles lady is trendy, feminine, and completely adorable. We love how she mixes prints and girly touches for a completely enviable look from head to toe. See how Kristine wore our Maggie Pom Pom Scarf for a lovely spring stroll (she’s rockin’ boots with a pretty skirt!), and read her answers to our questions below:

SDN: Best fashion advice your mom ever gave you?

Kristine: Always make sure everything fits. Seems basic, but it really does make quite a difference!

SDN: If you were on a deserted island and could only take one thing from your closet, what would it be?

Kristine: Oh boy, I really don’t think anything in my closet would be too functional on a deserted island! Does my wedding ring count?

SDN: If you could brunch with any blogger, who would it be and why?

Kristine: I really like Kendi of Kendi Everyday. She seems so down to earth and real.

Biggest fashion faux

SDN: Biggest fashion faux pas?

Kristine: I’m guilty of wearing heels that are too high — so high that I looked awkward walking. Nowadays I wear mostly flats. Oh, how things change!

The Knot Library

SDN: Which scarf knot from The Knot Library fits your style the best?

Kristine: I usually tie my scarves in the style of Muffler II. I like styling scarves so that they have a bit of volume.

Be sure to check back on the blog regularly for more scarf swoons from our favorite bloggers, and stay tuned for our Scarf Style Guide reveal later this season. Thanks again to Kristine for being a part of our project!
