How to tie a Layered Knot

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Start by putting the scarf around the front of your neck so the ends hang in back.

Step 2

Wrap the ends around to the front and loosen the loop so that it's comfortable around your neck.

Step 3

Cross one end over the other and tie a knot.

Step 4

Make the end of the scarf hanging down in front a bit longer than the end behind it, and make sure the longer end covers the shorter end.

Step 5

Adjust the first loop so it covers the knot and creates a tail in the front.
