How to Use Scarves.net

How does The Knot Library work, you ask? There’s no Dewey Decimal System here. 😉 On the left side of your screen, simply find the type of scarf you want to learn more about. Next, select a knot or click the parent category such as “Bandana Scarves” to see all the knot options available. Once you choose a knot, you will be taken to a video and step by step instructions with pictures to guide you! Watch, read, rewind, repeat, practice — and voilà! Now you know a new way to tie a scarf!

    STEP 1 Put the scarf around the back of your neck so both sides hang down in front. STEP 2 Tie the ends together, making multiple, parallel knots partway down the length of the scarf. STEP 3 This will create a pattern. Tie as many knots as you’d like.

    STEP 1 Put the scarf around the back of your neck with the ends to the front. STEP 2 Fold one end over the other two times. STEP 3 Take this same end up through the back and through the loop you created. STEP 4 Pull the ends taut.

    STEP 1 Put the scarf around the back of your neck with both sides hanging down in front evenly. STEP 2 Tie a simple bow tie (like you’d tie your shoe). STEP 3 You can tie the bow close to your neck or keep it farther away, whichever you prefer.
