Fur is one of our favorite textured functional pieces to turn to as winter sits around the corner. What better way to fend off the cold and let loose the diva in you with classic fur on fur combinations, certain to keep you warm and looking totally chic this winter season. Although a fur scarf worn with a fur coat done wrong can be a lot to digest and possibly leave you looking like a hairy primate, if not worn tastefully.
Here are a few inspired looks that will keep you warm as the temperatures drop and have you look your best in fur.
Fur complemented by fur is a glamorous and elegant style that works like a charm against cold weather. With numerous color combinations to match and bring out the best in your winter ensemble, fur scarves on fur coats is an outrageously chic fashion statement.
Get basic and try a classic black ensemble with black coat and black bottoms, either leather pants or skinnies, offset with a colored fur scarf to make your outfit pop. You could also throw in a colored top to accentuate your furry extra, worn with a pair of suede leather booties or a strappy studded platform heels make a stunning match.
If you’re the brave sort and don’t mind sporting a bit of rich deep color during cold months then you could try a combination of dark fur coat with a black fur scarf. Worn the other way around in a black fur coat accentuated with a dark fur scarf works well too, but is more of a safe and subdued choice.
Match a fitted ribbed dress in neutral tone, either white or black with a black fur coat and a dark toned fur scarf to add a bit of allure to the entire look, match with a pair of cutout ankle booties.
Get noticed and make a fine impression with a bold and radical choice with color on color fur on fur combinations that will blow your mind away. Adopting this style can get a bit tricky, especially when mixing two different colors. Burgundy and shades of deep red match green hues well. Refer to a color wheel to check to see which contrasting colors would match well together and remember to keep the rest of your outfit neutralized to avoid looking like a circus clown.
