Inside the Photo Studio: 6 Scarves, 6 Looks, 6 Days of Travel; Sara Goes to Ireland

Scarves are an ideal travel companion. They’re compact, they keep you warm, and they always make you look good. For these reasons and more, I filled my suitcase to the brim with scarves while packing for a quick trip to Ireland.  And because I’m a photographer, I vowed that I’d document my six days of travel with my six scarves.

And so I was off to the lands of my ancestors with camera in hand and scarf around neck.

Here is part 1 of 3…

First stop, Dublin.

I arrived to Dublin in my Solid Colored Pashmina ready to see the sites.  This scarf was perfect on the long plane ride.  Not only was it comfortable, but it doubled as my blanket and kept me warm for the flight across the big pond.

The next day we traveled to Kinsale and stopped by the Blarney Castle on the way.

Our day at the Blarney Castle was dreary and cold, but I was determined to pucker up to that Blarney Stone.  Luckily, my Erica Colorblock Scarf was there to help keep me warm…and fashionable, of course.  I knotted this scarf and paired it with a simple jacket for a casual, yet put-together look.

Come back tomorrow for part two.

There's no place like home! Take me back to ScarvesDotNet.
