Scarf Style Swoon: Andrea of Blonde Bedhead
Over the past few months, we’ve asked our favorite fashion bloggers to knot, twist, tie, loop, twirl, drape, braid, and style our very own scarves. Along the way, we’ve chatted with each gorgeous gal, asking her questions about her life, her closet, and her loves. The result? A Scarf Style Guide featuring fabulous scarf looks styled by real life ladies.
Our next style spotlight is Andrea from Blonde Bedhead. This artsy, trendy, photo-lovin’ lady sports chic prints, classic shapes, and pops of color from head to toe — and her gorgeous locks leave us completely envious every time! See how she styled our Lexy leopard scarf, and read her answers to our questions below:
SDN: If you were on a deserted island and could only take one thing from your closet, what would it be?
Andrea: My favorite item in my closet is a BCBG cropped leather jacket I bought three years ago on clearance — it’s a major staple in my closet. I wouldn’t be able to live without it, especially since I’m perpetually cold!
SDN: If you could brunch with any blogger, who would it be and why?
Andrea: Definitely Terra of Stylish White Female. I love her style, personality, and I’d love to visit Pittsburgh and have her show me around her town! We both work day jobs in the PR industry, and I think we can relate to each other. We borrow each other’s clothes, I just haven’t met her in person yet!
SDN: Biggest fashion faux pas?
Andrea: I don’t even know where to start for this one. When I look back at my high school pictures, I had no sense of who I was and just tried so hard to fit in. If I could burn every Hollister sweatshirt and pink glittery shirt from those days, I would. It’s such a faux pas to be uncomfortable and trying to fit in.
SDN: Best fashion advice your mom ever gave you?
Andrea: My mom lives in a snowsuit and a Carhart jacket to tend to the hobby farm I grew up on. Any advice she’s given me, I’ve taken the opposite and have succeeded. Love you mom, but style isn’t a priority to you and that’s okay!
SDN: If there is one song that would be your life theme song, what would it be?
Andrea: Lost in My Mind by The Head and the Heart
SDN: Annnnnd which scarf knot from The Knot Library Master List fits your style the best?
Andrea: The Boho Loop Tie!
