Scarf Style Swoon: Taliah of Fashion Was Here
G’day ladies! A while back, we introduced you to Violet of Blyth Ponytail Parades and announced that something BIG was brewing here at Scarves Dot Net. Well, the brewing has turned into a full-on boil, and we’re SO excited to bring a very special resource to you this spring.
Over the past few months, we’ve asked our favorite fashion bloggers to knot, twist, tie, loop, twirl, drape, braid, and style our very own scarves. Along the way, we’ve chatted with each gorgeous gal, asking her questions about her life, her closet, and her loves. The result? A Scarf Style Guide (coming soon!) featuring fabulous scarf looks styled by real-life ladies.
Kicking off our second style spotlight is Taliah from Fashion Was Here. Taliah is a modern and vintage-loving lady with a penchant for fun, eclectic accessories. It’s no wonder she had her eye on our August Tribal Scarf! Read her answers to our questions below:
SDN: If you were on a deserted island and could only take one thing from your closet, what would it be?
Taliah: My Yumi Kim dress for the comfort and colors. Oh, and it has the best pockets a dress could ever have.
SDN: If you could brunch with any blogger, who would it be and why?
Taliah: Emily Schuman from Cupcakes and Cashmere to pick her brain on how fab she makes just about everything. I mean, this girl seems to be almost perfect, and I adore her style and domesticated blissfulness.
SDN: Biggest fashion faux pas?
Taliah: Black lip liner with clear gloss. Horrible … just horrible.
SDN: Best fashion advice your mom ever gave you?
Taliah: She showed me how to be unique and stand out from the rest without being over the top. She’s also responsible for showing me how to pose at an early age! lol
SDN: Annnnnd which scarf knot from The Knot Library fits your style the best?
Taliah: The Half Bow II for the volume it gives, and I’m definitely a bow girl. I like that it’s not a complete bow but has just enough girliness and pizazz for my style.
Be sure to check back to the blog regularly for more scarf swoons from our favorite bloggers, and stay tuned for our Scarf Style Guide reveal in spring! Thanks again to Taliah for being a part of our project!
There's no place like home! Take me back to ScarvesDotNet.
