Over the past few months, the Scarves Dot Net team has been working on a special little project with some of our favorite bloggers. We wanted to create a resource of real ladies wearing scarves to share the scarf love!

Our first blogger spotlight is Violet from Blythe Ponytail Parades. Violet is a (fellow) Indiana native with some incredible photo and craft skills. We asked her a few short questions, and we are so happy to have her kick off our little series!

SDN: If you were on a deserted island and could only take one thing from your closet, what would it be?
Violet: Hahaha completely unpractical, but I can’t think of just one item that I would need anyways. My wedding dress ;)

SDN: If you could brunch with any blogger, who would it be and why?
Violet: Mmmm, that’s super tough. There are honestly so many talented, awesome bloggers out there that I am just dying to meet. But if I am I just choosing one, I would have to say Bri from The Secret Life of Bee. She is so fun and we have SO much in common. I think we would get along very well :)

SDN: Biggest fashion faux pas?
Violet: Oh geez…I am super picky about my clothes. So there are a ton in my eyes ;) But I would say the worst would be words on the butt of your pants or sweats. YUCKO.

SDN: 5 Sites you’re addicted to?
Violet: Facebook, WhatShouldWeCallWeddingPhoto, Pandora, IMDB, and a BILLION blogs.

SDN: Best fashion advice your mom ever gave you?
Violet: I don’t really ever remember. But I was always taught to dress with modesty and that I would attract the right kind of friends and future husband that way. I always wanted to look dignified and smart.

SDN: Annnnnd which scarf from the store fits your style the best?
Violet: I am completely digging that Reid Striped scarf in mint and grey right now. Holy cow, it just SCREAMS me!
