Fairytale Remakes and Scarves
It seems Hollywood is recalling all of its favorite bedtime stories lately. “Tangled,” a Rapunzel replay featuring voice of Mandy Moore, and “Beastly” starring Vanessa Hudgens, both hit the big screen a few weeks ago. Actresses Amanda Seyfried and Kristen Stewart are playing lead roles in fairytale flicks too! This past Friday Amanda went all red for “Red Riding Hood,” a horror/thriller film in which she plays little red riding hood in a retelling of the classic story. It wasn’t just Amanda’s beautiful, big eyes that got her the main character, it was her ability to play different roles. The actress can play diverse roles, anywhere from “Mean Girls” to “Chloe” to “Dear John” to “Jennifer’s Body.” The movie was directed by Catherine Hardwicke, director of the “Twilight” series.
Which brings us to another chick who’s jumping into fairytale roles: Kristen Stewart. According to a recent announcement, Kristen is leaving vampires and werewolves behind to play Snow White in in the upcoming “Snow White and the Huntsman” movie. Catherine was interviewed saying that Kristen is going to be perfect for “Snow White and the Huntsman” and that her athletic and adventurous ways will suit Snow White well.
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? Although it’s a difficult choice, I’d have to say I am head over heels for Amanda’s red scarf! It adds a bright pop to her casual outfit. Kristen’s green scarf is more understated, but still lovely. What type of scarf style are you dreaming of? Scarves.net has all kinds of scarves sure to exceed far beyond your fairytale expectations.
