Dominique of Oh Chic Fancy Huh

Over the past few months, we’ve asked our favorite fashion bloggers to knot, twist, tie, loop, twirl, drape, braid, and style our very own scarves. Along the way, we’ve chatted with each gorgeous gal, asking her questions about her life, her closet, and her loves. The result? A Scarf Style Guide featuring fabulous scarf looks styled by real life ladies.

Dominique

Our latest style spotlight is Dominique of Oh Chic Fancy Huh. This gorgeous, carefree fashion blogger has mastered the art of mixing and matching patterns, prints, and glam pieces for a look that’s fierce and completely copy-worthy. See how Dominique wore our Tahiti Wrap Scarf as a chic headpiece (unfortunately this pretty scarf sold out, but the Ariel, Nikki, and Alba are very similar) and read her answers to our questions below:

SDN: If you were on a deserted island and could only take one thing from your closet, what would it be?

Dominique: My thrifted white net dress. It is definitely one of my favorite pieces, very versatile, easy, comfortable, and chic! Take a look at the piece here.

SDN: If you could brunch with any blogger, who would it be and why?

Dominique: Karla of Karla’s Closet. I just think that she is so fly. All of her looks are effortless, and I look to her many times as a style muse. I would love a brunch date to pick her brain.

SDN: Biggest fashion faux pas?

Dominique: Creepers! Sorry, I know they are a big trend right now, but they kind of creep me out. I guess that is the point huh?

SDN: Best fashion advice your mom ever gave you?

Dominique: It doesn’t matter how nice your outfit is — if your hair is a mess, you will look a mess! lol

SDN: And which scarf knot from The Knot Library fits your style the best?

Dominique: I love to take a classic shape and add to it with a modern piece to bring a bit of interest to a look, and I think the DIY Circle Scarf is a great representation of that.
